WHAT IS A TVA?
A Temporary Vacancy Announcement, or TVA, is used when listing job vacancies with posts
ranging in length from 3 to 11 months. The posts are temporary in nature as they are
typically used to fill vacancies due to: staff members going on missions, other assignments,
or leave (medical, maternity/ paternity or special leave).
